The streets of Castro Marim were filled on the last day of the Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of the Martyrs, which saw the two highlights of the festivities program, the religious ceremonies and the concert by Nininho Vaz Maia.

The Portuguese singer «was one of the most anticipated names» at this year's edition of the Festas in Honor of Our Lady of the Martyrs, which took place on the 13th, 14th and 15th of August.

The first day began with the opening of the traditional Craft Show with artisans from the municipality working live and a dance with José Aníbal, followed by the beginning of religious celebrations with the Candle Procession through the arteries of the town of Castro Marim.

At night, ARUTLA took to the stage with a special show to celebrate the 25th anniversary, preceding the performance of “Smells Like 90s” which presented nostalgia and the biggest hits of the 90s.

On August 14th, the dance was hosted by Grupo +2, but the highlight of the night was a concert by Iris from the Algarve, who are celebrating their 45th anniversary this year with a special show.
