This is the list of museums and monuments where Portuguese people can enter for free

Entry to museums, monuments and palaces under public supervision of the company Museus e Monumentos de Portugal is now free for 52 days a year for Portuguese people and residents. The measure came into force on August 1st and, to be able to use it, simply present your citizen card in one of the 37 covered buildings.

However, the majority of museums or monuments under public protection are found north of the Tagus. In the Algarve, there is only one monument, while in Alentejo, there are two national museums and two churches linked to them, which Portuguese people or residents of Portugal can enter for free:
