Districts of Faro and Beja in yellow warning due to heat until Wednesday

In the Algarve there are also municipalities at maximum risk of fire

The districts of Faro, Beja, Bragança, Évora, Guarda, Setúbal, Castelo Branco and Portalegre are under yellow warning until 18pm on Wednesday due to the heat, according to the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA). 

The IPMA predicts for today on the continent a few cloudy or clear skies, temporarily with clouds on the coast, winds that are sometimes strong from the north in the western coastal strip and in the highlands and mist or morning fog in some places on the western coastal strip.

Minimum temperatures will range between 15 degrees (in Braga and Viana do Castelo) and 24 (in Faro) and maximum temperatures between 24 (in Aveiro) and 38 (in Évora). In Faro the maximum is 37.

More than 40 municipalities in the districts of Faro, Portalegre, Castelo Branco, Guarda, Viseu, Santarém and Bragança.
