“Algarve. The vacation you deserve” is the campaign that has just been launched by the Algarve Tourism Region (RTA) in Portugal and Andalusia, in Spain, to promote the region as a tourist destination.
The campaign is focused on idyllic settings in the Algarve and the diverse tourist experiences that the region offers.
The objective is, according to the RTA, to communicate «effectively in Portugal and Andalusia, inspiring people to discover and experience the best the region has to offer».
The target audience includes potential tourists residing in Portugal and Spain, with special emphasis on the Andalusian community, which has 8,6 million inhabitants, covering all age groups and varied interests.
«This campaign reflects our commitment to positioning the Algarve as a destination of excellence throughout the year. We want everyone, from young adventurers to families and seniors, to feel that they deserve an unforgettable holiday in the Algarve. With our breathtaking beaches, rich gastronomy and an impressive cultural offer, we believe that this campaign will not only increase the Algarve's notoriety, but will also attract visitors, particularly during the shoulder season», explains André Gomes, president of the RTA.
The campaign materials, created by New Light Pictures, include a dynamic 30-second advertising film and short 10-second versions, complemented by vibrant photographs that capture moments of fun on the beaches, tasting local delicacies and getting in touch with nature .
With this initiative, the RTA hopes to «not only increase the recognition of the Algarve brand, but also stimulate the desire to visit the region throughout the year, aiming to promote the region's vast offer and contributing to the sustainable development of tourism in the Algarve» .
