The friendly game between Farense and the Saudis of Al-Ittihad ended this Wednesday in the 87th minute, after five minutes of clashes that started on the field and spread to the stands, with referee Fa Sanhá concluding that there were no conditions to continue.
In the 82nd minute, at a time when Farense was winning 3-1, a disagreement between Belloumi and Fallath was the spark for a series of clashes, first between players from the two teams, which led to the expulsion of Tomané, the Algarve forward.
The pitched battle seemed to be concluded on the field when confusion broke out near the Al-Ittihad bench, among some fans and members of the Saudi delegation.
A chair thrown by someone linked to Al-Ittihad even hit Pedro Gonçalves, director of Farense, at the moment when the referee, understanding that the conditions to continue the game were not met, declared the game to be over.
