Zofia Kiniorska directs music by Émilie Mayer with Orquestra do Algarve

In a program where women shine

The Orquestra do Algarve welcomes Polish conductor Zofia Kiniorska for a special concert, in which, for the first time, the music of French Émilie Mayer, a 19th century composer who stood out for writing symphonies, will be heard in our country, a rare audacity in your time.

There will be two presentations, one on Friday, June 14th, at 21:30 pm, at the Albufeira Municipal Auditorium (tickets for 5 euros), then on Saturday, June 15th, at 21:00 pm, in the Grand Auditorium of the University's Gambelas Campus of the Algarve, in Faro, with free entry.

This program is also dedicated to the anniversary of the Associação Musical do Algarve, and, for that reason, it highlights two soloists from its violin sections, Sara Cymbron and Bojana Pantovic, for the interpretation of the two romances of Beethoven.
