Milreu ruins host guided tour, conference and garum tasting

Between the 14th and 16th

The Roman Ruins of Milreu, in Estoi, will host, between the 14th and 16th of June, a guided tour, conference and Garum tasting. 

The activities, which take place within the scope of the European Archeology Days, begin on the 14th, at 11 am, with the guided tour “With wine and olive oil, the story of Milreu is also told”.

Registration for this activity runs until June 13th, with a maximum of 20 participants, and can be made to [email protected].Fri.

The conference “The Importance of trade in fish preparations”, by professor and researcher at the University of Algarve João Pedro Bernardes, is scheduled for the 15th, at 16pm.

At 16:30 pm, the “Garum Lusitano – Selo de Mar Project” is presented. At 17:00 pm, there is a Guided Visit to the Ruins of Milreu and a Garum Tasting.
