NERA presents the main legal obligations of companies in a seminar

“The Main Legal Obligations of Companies” will be made known in a seminar that will take place on the 24th of June, at 14 pm, at the premises of NERA – Associação Empresarial da Região do Algarve, in the Industrial Zone of Loulé.

The session, which is the result of a partnership between NERA and PRA – Raposo, Sá Miranda & Associados, Sociedade Advogados, will “address data protection in companies, the daily steps that a company must carry out and the legal obligations to which they are subject, either as controllers or subcontractors", according to the association.

“In terms of employment, the declarative obligations of companies will be clarified, as well as the impact of the decent work agenda”, he adds.

“How to proceed in the event of security incidents and how to deal with situations of disagreement with customers and suppliers, including complaints and complaints from consumers” will also be discussed and “the duties of companies in relation to Alternative Dispute Resolution” will be clarified. On the other hand, this Seminar will highlight Consumer Law standards, their practical impact on day-to-day life and their main obligations towards consumers, as well as the regime of legal guarantees of conformity of goods and procedures for handle complaints”.

The seminar is aimed at companies, workers, jurists, company lawyers, IT professionals and any individual professionals who have direct relationships with consumers.

This Seminar will be led by PRA's Labor Coordinating Associate, Rita Frade Pina, PRA's Senior Litigation and Arbitration Associate, Cláudia Roque de Almeida, PRA's Senior Commercial and Contracts Associate, Tiago Leal and the Intellectual Property Principal Associate and Privacy of PRA, Rita Ferreira Ramos.
