Book “Food with history: food stories” presented at the UAlg library

This edition was prepared within the scope of the project «The Algarve in the Mediterranean Diet»

The book “Food with history: food stories” will be presented this Thursday, June 20th, at 16:30 pm, in the conference room of the Library of the University of Algarve, on the Gambelas Campus.

The session is attended by edition coordinators Célia Quintas, Eduardo Esteves, Jaime Aníbal and Rui Cruz.

«In order to transmit knowledge, skills and values ​​to future generations and preserve the Mediterranean Diet, in this publicity book, some (groups of) foods are described, their history and the processing through which the raw materials are/were subjects, explaining some technical concepts», emphasizes UAlg.

This edition was prepared within the scope of the project «The Algarve in the Mediterranean Diet» (CRESC ALGARVE 2020).
