Adílio Gomes Memorial Grand Prix brings together hundreds of athletes at Height

Test took place on Portugal Day

Hundreds of athletes and sports lovers participated in another Adílio Gomes Memorial Grand Prix, which took place in Altura, in the municipality of Castro Marim, on the 10th of June.

For clubs, Clube Oriental Pechão, Olímpico Clube Lagos and Clube Recreativo Alturense took the podium.

At the training and senior levels, the winners of the respective competitions were Noémia Horta (Under 10), Beatriz Palma (Under 12), Santiago Ângelo (Under 10), Miguel Mestre (Under 12), Leonor Silva (Under 14), Henrique Barros (Under 14), Luana Valente (Under 16), Tiago Brito (Under 16), Matilde Mestre (Under 18), Vicente Paulo (Under 18), Carolina Vitória (Under 20), Sara Inácio (Seniors), João Brito ( Under 20), Vasco Tita (Under 23) and Roberto Reigado (Seniors).

Among veterans, the highlights were Ruben Macedo (Veterans I), Manuel Rodrigues (Veterans II), João Campião (Veterans III), Miguel Silva (Veterans IV), João Pisco (Veterans V), Jorge Santos (Veterans VI), Catarina do Vale (Veterans I), Isabel Gonçalves (Veterans II), Sónia Palma (Veterans III), Justina Pereira (Veterans IV), Manuela Pereira (Veterans V), Lina Brito (Veterans VI)

The races for this Urban Mile took place in the morning, with the start and finish line near the headquarters of the Clube Recreativo Alturense, with the athletes having to walk along Rua da Alagoa until the roundabout on Avenida 24 de Junho.
