Pé na Terra Festival returns to Fuzeta with Paulo Flores

The Pé na Terra Festival has the support of the Chamber of Olhão and the Union of Parish Councils of Moncarapacho and Fuzeta

The Pé na Terra Festival takes place from the 28th to the 30th of June, in Fuzeta (Olhão), with names such as Paulo Flores. 

This name is joined by Ilê Aiyê, Criatura, Renata Rosa, Leo Middea, Diego Oliveira, Rasta Fogo, Gafieira, Colectivo Gira and the Orquestra de Batukadeiras de Portugal.

Dance will also be present throughout the three days of the Pé na Terra Festival. The public has access to more than 40 traditional dance workshops from various parts of the African continent, Brazil and Portugal, such as samba, semba, funaná, forró, kola San jon, batuka, maracatu, côco or kizomba.

With the aim of boosting the positive influence of culture among young people, the “Pézinhos na Terra” space presents several fun activities for children, ranging from dance to theater, story time or tree planting.

The space also has a nursery equipped with beds and baby changing facilities cared for by professional monitors.

The Pé na Terra Festival has the support of the Chamber of Olhão and the Union of Parish Councils of Moncarapacho and Fuzeta, entities that have been side by side in a historic journey of 12 years.
