Carlos Lopes, Cajuda and Rosa Mota discussed “High performance at school” in Olhão

The initiative was part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Olhanense winning the Portuguese Championship in 1924.

The seminar “High performance at school – reconciling academic and sporting success” brought together, last Friday, May 31st, names such as Carlos Lopes, Rosa Mota and Manuel Cajuda, at Escola Secundária Dr. Francisco Fernando Lopes, in Olhão. 

The initiative was also attended by Vitor Pardal, Ana Cabecinha, Paulo Murta and Jorge Costa.

The conversation was moderated by Humberto Gomes and Artur Lara Ramos.

According to Escola Secundária Dr. Francisco Fernando Lopes, this was an “enlightening and enriching session that allowed us to listen to great Olympic athletes and see how it is possible to combine studies and sport”.

The initiative was part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Olhanense winning the Portuguese Championship, in 1924. That final was won 4-2 against FC Porto.
