Literary Spring Faro is back in Jardim da Alameda

Until Sunday there is a lot happening

Literary Spring arrived yesterday, the 15th, at Jardim da Alameda and the Municipal Library of Faro António Ramos Rosa and will promote book presentations, conversations, poetry recitals and musical shows with the presence of several renowned authors and artists until Sunday, the 19th.

Until Sunday, in addition to the activities that will take place permanently, such as the 46th Book Fair Faro (between 10 am and 00 pm), “BooK Tinder”, promoted by Associação Sê Mais Sê Melhor, plastic activities, with APLIKIDS and “Livro Esquecido”, with Oficina do Sentir, the program has many activities, aimed at different audiences.

Today, May 16th, there are several proposals for the school public and families, as well as an autograph session by the writer Pedro Chagas Freitas, at 18 pm, at Jardim da Alameda – Casa do Autor, followed by Readings with Cello, by Bárbara Santos, at 00:18 pm, at Jardim da Alameda – Bosque das Letras.

Book presentations, environmental sustainability, theater, workshops and cinema will mark the 17th of May, with a set of actions aimed at families and the general public. Highlight for “Two people talking live”, which will bring together Martim Sousa Tavares (conductor) and Hugo Van Der Ding (author and cartoonist) in the library auditorium, who from 19pm will address topics linked to memory and cultural identity and literary of Faro and the Algarve.

On Saturday, May 18th, there will be activities aimed at both families and the general public, including a walk, reading stories, “Magic, Stories and Yoga”, book presentations. At 17pm, those interested will be able to follow the event “Conversation with… José Milhazes”, at Jardim da Alameda – Palco do Sabino.

The day will end with Immersive Theater (Ramos Rosa invites) and music, with Trio Kiloco.

On Sunday, the closing day, the “Primavera Literária” festival program begins at 11 am, at Jardim da Alameda – Bosque das Letras, with the presentation of the book “Cor-de-Margarida”, by rapper Capicua. The artist returns at 00:15 pm, to give a concert at the Casa do Sabino Stage and for a “Conversation with music”.

The “Magic, Stories and Yoga” initiative (12:00 p.m.), the presentation of the book “The son of Al-Hakam”, by Renato Proença dos Santos (15:00 p.m.), the music by Eduardo Ramos, “À conversa com Fúlvia Almeida”, with Inês Meneses and Rita da Nova, and Music and Poetry, with Hand Pan (18:30 pm) complete the program.
