Water polo: International tournament brings together four teams in Loulé

This will be, in the words of national coach Fernando Leite, «a good competitive moment for the absolute team»

The City of Loulé International Water Polo Tournament will take place from the 14th to the 16th of June with the participation of teams from Portugal, Poland, Ireland and Denmark.

The tournament will be played at the Loulé Municipal Swimming Pool Complex organized by the Portuguese Swimming Federation in partnership with the local authority.

This will be, in the words of national coach Fernando Leite, «a good competitive moment for the absolute team».

«We will test our current capabilities and introduce new players to the working group. Loulé is a water polo-friendly municipality and a city with a history in the sport for which we are grateful for all the support», he adds.

In parallel to the tournament, there will be a multidisciplinary teaching training course aimed at teachers from aquatic activities schools and a meeting of former players, a celebration of the sport in the Algarve.

9:00 am – Game for assigning 3rd and 4th place
