Montenegro chairs the meeting of the Permanent Drought Commission in Faro

Prime Minister Luís Montenegro will preside this Wednesday, May 22nd, at the 19th Permanent Commission for Prevention, Monitoring and Monitoring of the effects of the Drought, at the premises of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR), in Faro. 

The initiative starts at 16:30 pm.

Maria da Graça Carvalho, Minister of Environment and Energy, and José Manuel Fernandes, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, will also participate in the meeting.

This meeting comes after another, of the Regional Subcommittee for the South Zone of the Albufeiras Management Commission, which took place at the end of April and in which the Minister of the Environment said there was room to ease the restriction measures on water use in the Algarve.
