Companies from Albufeira promoted themselves in the United States

Around 20 companies, members of APAL – Albufeira Promotion Agency, participated, on the 14th and 16th of May, in promotional actions for the destination in Boston and New York.

Companies “were able to develop contacts with a view to establishing partnerships and businesses”, says APAL.

The Municipality of Albufeira and APAL once again joined forces to implement an initiative that was only possible thanks to the interest and support of companies that identified a good opportunity to promote and enhance themselves.

This is, in APAL's opinion, «an important market for Albufeira, as it has a large margin for growth and is based on a tourist profile with great purchasing power».

Albufeira receives around 20% of total North American overnight stays in the Algarve, the result of stays that take place mainly outside the bathing season.
