Algarvio Bernardo Pinheiro will take part in the «most important race in support of the “24 Hours of Le Mans”»

In June

The Algarve driver Bernardo Pinheiro will participate on the 13th and 15th of June in the “Road to Le Mans”, considered «the most important race in support of the “24 Hours of Le Mans”», following of the victory he achieved in his debut race in the European Le Mans Series, in Barcelona.

In this way, the Portimão rider will also defend the colors of Team Virage in a race «where in 2023 Valentino Rossi, the nine-time world champion motorcycling star, will also compete».

«Taking part in the Road to Le Mans is undoubtedly a great opportunity to get to know the circuit that hosts the 24 Hours of Le Mans even better. After Barcelona the opportunity arose to do so and I will line up, on a grid where there are usually six dozen cars, together with my team, which won last year. It will certainly be of greater importance for this first experience on an iconic route such as La Sarthe», considered Bernardo Pinheiro.

The race is part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans program and is part of the Le Mans Cup calendar – a championship created in 2016 reserved for GT3 and LMP3 – and is the third of six races in that series.

Considered as the most important round of the Michelin Le Mans Cup, the drivers from each team face two races lasting 55 minutes on the almost 14 kilometers of the circuit.
