Secondary students have until the end of today to register for national exams that they wish to use as tests for entry into higher education.

The deadline, which started at the beginning of last week, is aimed at students in the 11th and 12th years who wish to take national final exams exclusively as entrance tests for the purpose of accessing higher education.

Registration is made by families on the Electronic Registration Platform for Tests and Exams (PIEPE), which is available on here, It is then up to the school administration services to validate it.

Students who are now in the 12th year only take exams in the subjects they choose as entrance exams, and the new rules for completing secondary education, which will force students to take an exam in Portuguese and two other subjects, do not yet apply. choice.

Today, the deadline also ends for students in individual or home education who want to take the assessment tests for the 2nd, 5th and 8th years, the equivalence tests for attendance at the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles, final exams and school-level exams in the 3rd cycle of basic education.

For the remaining students, registration for these tests is automatic.

This year, assessment tests and final exams for basic education will once again be held electronically. The national secondary school final exams will be carried out on paper.
