The performance of Anjos, a musical group that brings together the brothers Nelson and Sérgio Rosado, will be on July 27th. The Feira da Serra ends with Bárbara Bandeira.
As is tradition, this year there will be a guest product again: olive oil.
In statements to the Sul Informação, Vítor Guerreiro, president of the Chamber of São Brás de Alportel, considered that olive oil is the “gold of the Algarve barrocal”.
«We always value endogenous products and this year because it was a year of great olive oil production and of great quality. We thought this was an opportunity to pay homage to this noble product that is part of our gastronomy and has an ancient history", he added.
Olive oil will have a prominent place in the event, with a dedicated space.
Furthermore, the focus will also be on a «program aimed at the whole family so that, above all, we provide unique experiences through gastronomy, sweets, crafts, innovation», explained the mayor, who also highlighted the fact that the Feira da Serra being «the great showcase of the municipality».
«All year round, we feel the shock wave Feira da Serra, with tourists who visit us all year round because they discovered São Brás de Alportel at the event», he also said.
Therefore, expectations for this edition are “the best”.
«Last year, we had four nights with thousands of tourists filling Feira da Serra and this year we hope for an equal or greater success», he concluded.
