The general public with difficulties or limitations in the area of technology is the recipient of the training course on Digital Literacy called “Technology for All”, promoted by EPA – Escola Profissional de Alte, between March 28th and April 18th.
The training covers several basic concepts, from the computers we use on a daily basis, operating systems and the main programs, internet browsing, use of email and social networks, including ergonomics and safety rules.
The action takes place within the scope of the Cycle of Workshops and Training Actions that the Escola Profissional de Alte, a local development Cooperative, based in the village of Alte, municipality of Loulé, is promoting throughout the current year.
With a total duration of 14 hours, divided into two-hour sessions, the training will take place in the IT room of the Cândido Guerreiro Professional School, under the guidance of trainer Pedro Brandão.
Pedagogical methodologies such as expository, demonstrative and practical methods, challenge-based learning and practical exercises will be used.
