Between the 26th of February and the 3rd of March, the GNR detained 38 people and seized more than 180 doses of drugs throughout the Algarve.
Of the 38 arrests, 11 stand out for driving without a legal license, none for driving under the influence of alcohol and four for drug trafficking.
During this period, 86 doses of hashish, 85 doses of cocaine, 11 doses of heroin, three cell phones, a compressed air rifle, a precision scale, an automatic opening knife, a vehicle, a gold thread and 427,78 euros in cash were seized. cash.
In traffic, 583 infractions were detected, 229 for speeding, 36 due to lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 25 related to anomalies in lighting and signaling systems, 15 due to improper use of a cell phone while driving, 13 due to lack of civil liability insurance and 13 due to lack of or incorrect use of seat belts and /or child restraint system.
Between February 26th and March 3rd, 119 accidents were recorded, resulting in one death, two serious injuries and 25 minor injuries.
