The Union of Referee Centers, associated with the Algarve Football Association, promotes the “We Are Humans - No Violence” campaign, from the 1st to the 12th of February, to highlight “the importance of respect between all participants” in football and futsal .
The objective of the campaign is “to emphasize the ethical and moral values of all football lovers and to remember the relevance of values such as respect, integrity, honesty and fair play in sport and in society", according to the Referee Center.
The initiative will begin with the dissemination of the allusive symbol on the Referee Centers’ social networks. While the campaign is ongoing, referees will wear the symbol on their game shirts in all competitions held by the Algarve Football Association.
