The Wolves were in Faro

National team participated in the World Cup last year

Athletes from the national rugby team, known as “Os Lobos”, were, on December 20th, at the Campo do Complexo Desportivo da Penha, in Faro, in an initiative that brought together 120 children, organized by the Rugby Club of the University of Algarve.

This was a morning where «many had the opportunity, for the first time, to experience rugby practice and the possibility of living and playing with athletes».

The children were offered a ball, provided by the Portuguese Rugby Federation.

In the afternoon, with older athletes, open training was held where some experience could be gained from the national team athletes.
