Vodafone confirmed to Lusa today that it had identified problems in making telephone calls to other operators and added that the respective technical teams are collaborating on the resolution, without giving the reason for the disturbances.

«Vodafone confirms that it has identified difficulties in making calls to recipients from other operators. The respective technical teams are working collaboratively to resolve the situation as quickly as possible», said the company, in a written response to Lusa.

The three main telecommunications operators are today registering disruptions to the service, especially mobile ones, according to Lusa and confirm the reports to the specialized website Down Detector.

In the case of Meo (Altice), at 12:30 pm, the website presented around 300 problem reports, coming from various parts of the territory, of which almost a third point to a general failure of the service.

Vodafone already had more than 500 reports, which increased from 9 am, also covering several municipalities in the country, mainly about problems related to mobile phone calls.

In the case of NOS, more than 80 reports had been registered up until that time, with a peak of complaints at midnight that became more acute after 09am, also covering several parts of the country, with more than half saying they were suffering from a general failure, with there also being records of problems with fixed and mobile internet.
