Portimonense is out of the Cup after defeat against Braga

With this defeat, there will no longer be Algarve teams in the Portuguese Cup

Portimonense is out of the Portuguese Football Cup, after losing this Saturday, November 25th, to Sporting de Braga by 1-4, in Portimão.

The Algarve team did not start the match well and conceded the first goal after 13 minutes. Álvaro Djaló scored a great goal, with an arcing shot that went into the corner of Vinicius' goal.

Until half-time, it remained 0-1, although Portimonense had three good chances to equalize.

At the beginning of the second half, Braga scored twice, both by Ricardo Horta, at 47' and 50'.

The tie was practically decided, although there were still two more goals: one for Braga, by Rony Lopes, in the 78th minute, and one for Portimonense, by Filipe Relvas, in the 84th minute.

With this defeat, there will no longer be Algarve teams in the Portuguese Cup.
