Viegas Gomes, journalist born in Faro and currently residing in Olhão, he died yesterday, November 14th, at the age of 85.
The body will be held in the chapel of the New Cemetery of Faro starting tomorrow, November 16th, at 10am.
At 10:30 am, the celebration of the word will take place, in the same chapel, from where the funeral will take place, at 10:45 am, to the New Cemetery of Faro.
As a journalist, he collaborated with Diário de Notícias and several national and regional media outlets. He was also a gastronomic critic and author of several books, particularly on issues linked to the city of Faro.
