The Great Options of Portimão for the five-year period from 2024 to 2028 and the taxes to be applied in 2024 are matters that will be considered and voted on in the 5th Ordinary Session of the Municipal Assembly of Portimão, which will take place on December 13th, at 21:00 pm, at Noble Hall of the Town Hall.
According to the notice of this session of AM Portimoense, which can be consulted by clicking here, after the citizens' intervention period there will be an appreciation of the written information presented by the mayor.
The period on the agenda will follow, with five points.
The first will be the discussion and voting on the Forecast Budget and Financial Statements and the Major Options of the Municipal Plan, for the five-year period from 2024 to 2028.
The second will be the discussion and voting on the Municipality's Personnel Map and Annual Recruitment Plan for the year 2024.
The third will be the discussion and vote on the Municipal Property Tax (IMI) rates for the year 2023, to be collected in the year 2024.
As for the fourth point, it will be the discussion and voting on the variable participation of IRS of taxpayers with tax domicile in the municipality of Portimão to be collected in 2024, referring to income for the year 2023.
The fifth point is also linked to tax collection, in this case to the value of the percentage of Surcharge on taxable profit subject to and not exempt from Corporate Income Tax (IRC) for the year 2024 relative to the year 2023.
The last point is the discussion and vote on the appointment of Maria Teresa Alvo de Sousa Tavares de Sampaio Várzea to the position of Municipal Animal Ombudsman.
