The Climate Travel project is funded by the Environmental Fund

Portimão hosted one of the stages of the “Journey for the Climate”, a competition that in the last weeks of September traveled the country from North to South in an adventure for sustainability, having received the three participating teams on the 20th (Air), 24th (Water) and 25th (Earth), which made students aware of the use of organic waste.

Sustainability and waste guided the activities of the Terra team, the big winner of the competition, which at the Continente Shopping Center in Portimão promoted an awareness-raising action under the challenge “Organic Waste: Waste or Opportunity?”, open to collaboration from the local community.

Climate Travel is an initiative of Cooler World, a movement towards carbon neutrality created by Get2C, a consultancy specializing in climate change, in partnership with Cascais City Council and the support of the Environmental Fund, aiming to mobilize Portuguese society for the urgent transition climate.

The Climate Travel project is financed by the Environmental Fund and supported by several entities, including the Portimão City Council.
