Mediterranean Diet Route passes through São Brás with gastronomy, crafts and folklore

The event is organized by the In Loco Association

The Mediterranean Diet Route (RDM) will pass, this Sunday, October 15th, in São Brás de Alportel, with gastronomic demonstrations, craft workshops, traditional games and folklore. 

The events will take place from 9:00 am to 14:00 pm.

Thus, there will be a gastronomic demonstration, with chef Rui Palma, who will bring with him the recipe for rabbit soups with white beans, craft workshops such as cane basket weaving and cane toys and a stamp workshop with stamping symbols of the Mediterranean Diet, with free participation but mandatory registration, traditional games. local tales, legends and traditions.

Added to this is a performance by the Folkloric Group of Faro, which also includes a dance workshop.

The Mediterranean Diet Route is a community of companies and entities united to promote the Mediterranean Diet and that assume with pride and determination the mission of organizing and providing all tourists and visitors with the best sensory and emotional experiences, so that they can get to know and enjoy in depth this ancient lifestyle, recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

The event is organized by the In Loco Association, promoter of the Mediterranean Diet Route and the “RDM by SB Alportel” activity, carried out within the scope of the “+Algarve, a Mediterranean lifestyle” project, supported by CRESC 2020, in partnership with São Brás de Alportel City Council.
