The Artenata fair will take place again in Ferragudo on the 25th and 26th of November, a little earlier than has been usual in recent years of the event, announced the Ferragudo Parish Council, organizer of the initiative.
The fair, which takes place in Largo Rainha D. Leonor and adjacent streets and will open at 10 am on November 00th, is aimed at «all people who dedicate themselves full or part time to any type of production of artisanal pieces, artistic or decorative arts, residents or natives of the Algarve, whose products contribute to the qualitative improvement of the event and to the affirmation of the work of each participant among the public and respective market segment», according to the board.
Those interested in attending must pre-register by November 23, «due to logistical and space issues».
As for the anticipation of the date – the fair, in recent years, took place on the first weekend of December – aims to «reinforce the objectives of creating the fair», whose focus «has always been to safeguard local products and artists» .
