There is a lot to choose from

The Library's September schedule Faro includes a lecture on suicide prevention, a photography exhibition and the presentation of two books.

The lecture “Suicide Prevention in Perspective” will take place on the 22nd, at 15 pm, and will have the participation of João Tordo (writer), Vítor Alua (sociologist), Helena Figueiras (journalist) and Renato Sousa (physician), in a conversation moderated by Bruno Luz (physician).

In addition, you can visit the Photography Exhibition "Faro”, by Luís Martins, a self-taught person, passionate about photography and image editing, who regularly publishes his work on the YouPic and Gurushots websites.

Two books will be presented, with the presence of their authors: on the 15th of September, it will be the turn to discover the work “Citizens with Disabilities”, by João Luís Gonçalves and, on the 28th, “A Cidade dos Dias Desacontecidos”, by Pedro Ribeiro da Silva. Both sessions will be at 18pm and free entry.

As usual, there will be plenty of possibilities to catch up on readings, discovering the novelties available for loan and the usual headings return, such as "The French Film of the Month" (on the 15th, at 21, with the film "Rouge", by Farid Bentoumi) and “Family Saturdays (on the 00th, at 30 pm, with the Yoga of the Seasons, promoted by Rita Cavaco).
