A concert by Reflect, marking 20 years of career, in partnership with Banda Filarmónica Silvense, will take place this Sunday, September 3rd, from 22:00, at Castelo de Silves.
On stage there will also be many guests of Pedro Pinto (Reflect), born in Armação de Pêra, «with whom he shared songs and dreams over these two decades dedicated to hip hop», says Câmara de Silves.
Reflect founded the Algarve label Kimahera in 2005. He debuted in editions in 2008 with the album “Último acto” and, in 2013, he released the eponymous “Reflect”.
Invited by the BBC, he represented Portugal in 2014 to the sound of “Mar e Maré”. She published the posthumous book “De mim para mim” with texts by Carolina Tendon and edited an album in partnership with the writer and teller Napoleon Mira.
In 2017, he released the single “Eu Fico Bem” and saw his “Paper Boat” distinguished with the 2018 Algarve Best Music Award (Choque Frontal – Alvor FM).
Solo or in partnership, he has already stepped on some of the biggest stages in the country, such as MEO Sudoeste, Casa da Música (Porto) and Festival MED.
The concert is part of the Silves Municipality Day celebrations.
