Riche Campbell, Diogo Piçarra, Toy, Quim Barreiros, “Os Quatro e Meia”, Bárbara Tinoco and Mariza with Orquestra do Algarve. These are some of the main names on the FATACIL musical line-up that takes place from the 18th to the 27th of August in Lagoa.
As I had already announced, this year's edition venue will have an area of over 9 square meters, around 700 exhibitors, dozens of musicians, musical shows, hundreds of points of interest and «the biggest Fun Zone ever», according to Town hall.
On average, more than 20 visitors are expected per day, in the year in which Lagoa celebrates the 250th anniversary of the municipality's creation.
“This will undoubtedly be the biggest and best edition of FATACIL ever», said Luís Encarnação, mayor.
The Lagoa Stage, in the catering area, will have a larger dimension and greater cultural diversity. The Espaço Lounge, from Vinhos do Algarve, will be expanded and will have greater comfort to better receive guests.
The concerts on the FATACIL stage (main stage) will be broadcast in the food court, allowing anyone in the Lounge or food court to watch the musical shows.
The “Amar a Terra” space, where excellent products from the Serra, Barrocal and Coast of the Algarve are promoted, will have a larger area and will have more activities. The Fun Zone space was expanded, responding to younger guests. Another novelty is the recovery of the use of reusable cups.
Among the novelties there is also a daily parade, at the opening of the fair, a screen with live events from the event and an interactive quiz show in the food court.
As for musical shows, FATACIL will have Richie Campbell (August 18th, Diogo Piçarra (19th), Badoxa (20th), Toy (21st), Quim Barreiros (22nd), Chico da Tina (23rd), Miguel Araújo (24th) , Os Quatro e Meia (25), Bárbara Tinoco (26) and Mariza with Orquestra do Algarve (27).
The highlight goes to Badoxa, «a son of the land» who will perform in the event.
The area occupied by FATACIL, the largest ever, with 80 thousand square meters, is joined by an increasingly larger, more dynamic and diversified event, the ambition to do more and better, with the probability of setting new records. ticket sales, which last year reached 215 visitors.
«That cliché phrase “FATACIL is always the same”, has stopped making sense for many years», guarantees mayor Luís Encarnação.
The fair hours are from 18:00 to 01:00.
Tickets will be available for purchase over the next few days: the day ticket will cost 5 euros, the daily family ticket 16 euros and the 10-day pass 30 euros.
Children up to 12 years old (inclusive) do not pay entrance, upon presentation of the Citizen Card. Tickets can be purchased at the online ticket office (to be announced soon), at the CTT, at Fnac, at Worten, at the Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, at Balcão Único Municipal and at the fair site, at the local ticket offices that will be open during the days of the fair.
