Quinta do Lago: Casa Velha reopens with new concept

There are fish, meat and even vegetarian dishes.

The oldest restaurant in Quinta do Lago, Casa Velha, reopens its doors with a new concept, based on Portuguese cuisine.

On the menu it is possible to find several starters based on cheeses and charcuterie. For main dishes there are options with ingredients from the land, the sea or the garden.

From the land there are four dishes available: duck rice croquettes, barbecue chicken, woodpecker and Portuguese veal bitoque.

For fish fans, the sea dishes include cod, tuna toast, octopus à lagareiro and spicy shrimp sauce.

Fried bitter potatoes, fish from the garden, lalandrinho rice and fava bean fricassee come from the garden.

For dessert there is rice pudding, pastel de nata and coffee, and even goat cheese cheesecake.

Anyone who wants can also ask for some vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free options.

The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday for dinner from 18:00 to 22:30.
