Last Saturday, the 15th of July, the Folklore Festival animated the village of Azinhal, in the municipality of Castro Marim.
This 26th edition had the participation of the Folklore Ranch Serra do Ceira (Góis), the Folklore Ranch of the Center for Culture and Recreation of Foros da Fonte Seca (Redondo), the Folkloric Ranch of Charneca (Pombal) and the host group, the Folkloric Ranch of Azinhal (Algarve).
Known for its bobbin lacemakers, the village of Azinhal carries with it a strong trace of the cultural character of the municipality of Castro Marim.
The XXVI Folklore Festival of Azinhal was organized by Casa do Povo and Rancho Folclórica do Azinhal and has the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim and the Local Parish Council.
