The Municipality of Silves will promote, between the 16th of June and the 31st of July, an action to control cockroach and rat control in all the parishes of the municipality.
In the parish of São Marcos da Serra, the action takes place on the 16th of June, in the parish of Armação de Pêra it is on the 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 26th and 27th of June. On the 28th, 29th and 30th of June it takes place at União de Freguesias Alcantarilha e Pêra, in Pêra, and on the 3rd, 4th and 6th of July in Alcantarilha.
On the 7th, 10th and 11th of July it will be in Algoz and on the 12th, 13th and 14th of July it will be in Tunes.
In the parish of São Bartolomeu de Messines it is scheduled for the 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st of July and in the parish of Silves on the 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 31st of July.
For greater effectiveness of this type of action, the Municipality of Silves advises private entities (such as condominiums, owners of buildings and commercial establishments and the like) to also carry out this service of disinfestation actions, thus contributing to the reinforcement safeguarding public health, controlling urban pests and reducing exposure to urban pests.
