The 2nd edition of MOMI – Algarve Physical Theater International Festival runs until the 11th of June, in various venues Faro, with a strong focus on the quality of programming.

In the year in which the 100th anniversary of the birth of the renowned French mime Marcel Marceau, forerunner and ambassador of mime and pantomime in the XNUMXth century, is being celebrated, the festival will mark the occasion with a lecture and show.

The MOMI Festival, organized by JAT – Janela Aberta Teatro, demonstrated, in its first edition, a great growth potential, and asserts itself in this second edition as a reference of Physical Theater at national and international level.

One of the signs of this projection is the number of candidacies, artists and companies that responded to the open call, which climbed the 250 candidate shows, from more than 50 countries.
