A fire consumed a wooden house at the São Lourenço Golf Club, in Quinta do Lago, in the municipality of Loulé, this Friday, June 9th, at night.
The fire, whose alert was given at 21:47 pm and which has been under control since around 23:00 pm, did not cause any casualties and, despite the apparatus, consumed only the wooden construction and "did not spread to the surrounding area", as revealed to the Sul Informação the Algarve Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
«At first, the alert was also given for a bush fire, but it was not confirmed. In this way, the means that were sent for that occurrence were united with those of the other fire».
In total, there are 43 operators at the site, supported by 12 vehicles.
