The Lagoa Wine Show is back on the streets of this Algarve city, between the 7th and 10th of June, with many wines from various regions of the country, gastronomy and animation by Gisela João, Ricardo Ribeiro, Lura, among other artists.
This edition takes place from 19:00 to 00:00, at Rua Coronel Figueiredo, Praça da República, Rua Dr. Manuel de Arriaga and Largo Alves Roçadas.
This year's poster features fado voices - such as Gisela João, Pedro Moutinho, Ricardo Ribeiro, Filipa Vieira and Luana Velasquez - Silvana Peres, who combines the sound of fado with Brazilian and African rhythms, and Miriam Cantero, a Spanish singer who brings the flamenco in the voice. The musical offer also includes flamenco and lusophone music, in the voice of Lura, ending the poster with local artists and the, now usual, Fado à Janela.
The Lagoa Wine Show is already characterized as one of the most emblematic wine shows in the south, where producers from the various wine regions are present. But the highlight goes to the Algarve wines.
«The growth of wine in the Algarve region has, over the years, aroused the interest of critics and national and international experts, receiving the deserved recognition, through the various distinctions obtained in prestigious competitions of the specialty», says the municipality.
The Lagoa Wine Show is a free entrance event and also features gastronomic exhibitions and showcooking based on regional products.
