Vila do Bispo City Council signs protocol with the National Arts Plan

Before the ceremony, a performance of “O Bailado do Talude” took place.

The Vila do Bispo City Council and the National Arts Plan (PNA) signed, on May 31st, a collaboration protocol to simplify the implementation of the School Cultural Project.

The municipality points out that, with this agreement, «the conditions of cooperation between the entities are guaranteed with regard to the development of a set of actions aimed at students from the Vila do Bispo School Grouping in the field of culture, training, education, heritage and access to the arts».

The document was signed by the mayor Rute Silva and the executive commissioner of the PNA, Paulo Pires do Vale, in a ceremony held at the Cultural Center Auditorium, which was attended by the director of the Vila do Bispo School Group, Daniel Freitas.

Before the ceremony, there was a representation of “O Bailado do Talude”, by the students of the 5th year of the EB 2,3 School of São Vicente, an initiative that is part of the National Arts Plan.

The signing was also attended by the President of the Municipal Assembly, councillors, presidents of Parish Councils, a representative of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, Intermunicipal coordinator of the PNA, elements of the school community of the municipality, from students, parents and guardians , teachers and other education professionals.
