Exhibitions, conferences, cinema and the traditional videomapping. The Algarve Design Meeting takes place from the 22nd to the 27th of May, in Faro.
The opening session is scheduled for 18 pm on the 00nd, at Rua de Santo António (northern top), with the inauguration of Projeto Montra (intervention of design projects in several stores in downtown Faro) and subsequent visit to Fábrica da Cerveja (main headquarters of ADM), with opening and visit to exhibitions, Pop-Up stores and party in space lounges.
In addition to the activities planned during the week at Fábrica da Cerveja (conferences, pop-up shops, workshops, cinema, on the 27th of May, at 22:00 pm, there will be another videomapping, at Largo da Sé – Faro, which features the presentation of projects developed by students from several national and international universities.
For a week, institutions, companies, professors, researchers, professionals and the general public have the opportunity to get in touch with various projects and existing talents in the creative industry sectors, fostering knowledge among the different collectives of society.
In recent editions, «ADM has promoted not only design in all its forms of expression, but also the Algarve region, placing it on the map of international design events», says UAlg.
The Algarve Design Meeting is organized by the Higher School of Education and Communication (ESEC) of the University of Algarve, in partnership with the Municipality of Faro and the National Association of Designers.
