An “Australopithecus” takes to the stage of the Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira

The children's theater play “Australopitheco” will take place next Sunday, May 14, at 15 pm, on the stage of the Municipal Auditorium of Albufeira. 

This is a show by Universo Paralelo – Associação Cultural, which aims to promote reflection on issues of difference.

The project is a co-production of Museu da Marioneta/EGEAC and is funded by the Directorate-General for Arts.

Tickets cost 1 euro for children from 6 to 12 years old and 4 euros for those over 12 years old, and can be purchased at Galeria Municipal João Bailote, on weekdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 13:30 pm to 17:00 pm, or on the day of the show itself, at the Municipal Auditorium, from 14:00 pm to 15:15 pm.

On stage will be Beatriz Brito, Clara Franco, David Teixeira and Magnum Soares. The staging and text are by Adriana Melo, with text curation by Alice Vieira, scenography and costumes by Rita Capelo and original music by Steven Gillon (composer) and João Alves (Co-composer).

The production is the responsibility of Inês Franco/Universo Paralelo and Co-production of Museu da Marioneta/EGEAC.
