Tivoli opens its first all-inclusive hotel in Alvor

Guests can also enjoy a gastronomic offer outside the hotel and some local theme parks.

It is in the village of Alvor, in the municipality of Portimão, that Tivoli Hotels & Resorts opens this year its fifth resort in the Algarve and the first on an “all inclusive” basis.

The hotel has 491 rooms of various types, five outdoor swimming pools (one exclusively for adults, three for families and one for children) and an indoor pool, Kids club, four restaurants, two bars, wellness center (with gym, sauna, turkish bath) and several entertainment programmes.

In addition, guests can enjoy a gastronomic offer outside the hotel and some local theme parks.

During their stay, younger guests can participate in the entertainment programme, which includes games and challenges. From the age of 13, there is a program that invites teenagers to join their friends for moments of fun while playing football, padel or tennis, or while participating in activities prepared by the animators.

The Tivoli Alvor offers two all-inclusive options, a serviced version standard and a more exclusive one that offers an extra set of services premium.

For stays of a minimum of seven nights, the hotel offers access to Zoomarine, Slide & Splash or Zoo de Lagos for one day per person.

To explore the flavors of the region, the resort also offers the possibility to dine in a selection of local restaurants (included in the rate, but subject to availability and booking 72 hours in advance), such as Restinga Praia (Praia do Alvor), Àbabuja (Ribeira de Alvor), Jardim das Oliveiras (Monchique), T-Bone Steakhouse (NH Marina Portimão), Sky Bar Carvoeiro and The One Restaurant (both at the Tivoli Carvoeiro), Pepper's Steakhouse, Oregano and Purobeach Vilamoura (all at Tivoli Marina Vilamoura).

As for the hotel's dining options, the Tivoli Alvor has the Essenze restaurant, which is the meeting point for the whole family, with a buffet of international cuisine, available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For dinner, there are three more restaurants available by appointment: Carosello, with an Italian-inspired menu, based on pasta and pizza, with a mix of buffet and à la carte service, Roastic, with grilled meats, and Mad Med , with Mediterranean flavors and seafood.

Rates at the Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort start at 250 euros for a Deluxe room, with everything included for two adults and one child up to 12 years old.
