The Vicente Campinas Municipal Library, in Vila Real de Santo António, will host, on the 19th of May, the third participatory session under the Co-management of the Ria Formosa Natural Park (PNRF), between 10:00 and 12:30.
The objective of this action, organized by the Municipality of VRSA, in partnership with the entities represented in the PNRF Co-management Commission, is «to promote the sharing of opinions about this protected area, identify the opportunities and threats that the natural park faces and collect ideas with with a view to planning actions to promote, raise awareness and communicate the PNRF», says the municipality in a note.
Throughout the month of May, the Co-management Commission of the Ria Formosa Natural Park is promoting five participatory sessions, one per week, in each of the five municipalities with an area in the PNRF: Faro, Loulé, Olhão, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António.
The Ria Formosa Natural Park Co-Management Commission was set up in 2021, with a view to creating a shared dynamic for valuing this protected area, based on its sustainability and focusing specifically on the fields of promotion, awareness and communication.
