Seminar "Faro Azul, Intelligent Tourist Destinations” brings together specialists

The Iberian SeminarFaro Azul, Intelligent Tourist Destinations” takes place on the 11th of May, from 14:30 pm to 18:30 pm, at the Hotel EVA, in Faro.

Based on the 2nd edition of the Odyssea Blue Heritage II Project, this initiative will bring together national and Spanish specialists, professionals and industry leaders, with the aim of discussing the latest trends and innovations in blue tourism and clarifying issues related to this theme, from in a dynamic and participative way, together with all those who are interested in participating.

During the meeting, cases of sustainability and environmental practices in the territory of Faro, as well as the potential and promotion of smart blue tourism destinations, sharing good practices and success stories.

«The challenges and opportunities that arise when developing and managing these destinations in a sustainable way will also be deepened, considering factors such as environmental impact, cultural preservation and economic development», says the Chamber of Deputies. Faro.

By holding this international seminar, the municipality intends to involve the local community and experts and specialists, so that nautical destinations are better understood and everything they involve, approaching the theme from an inclusive and wealth-generating perspective environmental, social and economic.

The activity will also serve to divulge the diversity of the offer of the partners of the Nautical Station of Faro, leading residents and tourists to experience some of the activities they can do in Faro.
