Rute Silva defends intervention on the EN268 with deputies who visited Sagres

Mayor of Vila do Bispo took advantage of the presence of deputies from the Commission for Public Administration, Spatial Planning and Local Power to talk about problems felt in the county

Accessibility and circulation problems on the EN268, issues related to housing, the conditioning factors of the various planning plans and connection of Via do Infante to the municipality were some of the subjects presented by Rute Silva, mayor of Vila do Bispo, to the deputies of the Commission for Public Administration, Spatial Planning and Local Power (CAPOTPL), who were yesterday, May 8th, in Sagres.

The members of the commission, which is chaired by deputy Isaura Morais, made a working visit to the Exhibition Center of Fortaleza de Sagres, which was accompanied by Rute Silva and Adriana Nogueira, regional director of Culture of the Algarve.

During the visit, Rute Silva highlighted «her concern regarding the conditions of accessibility and circulation of the National Road 268, in the section that marks the entrance to Vila de Sagres, expressing the importance of urgently proceeding with its requalification, an intervention that will contribute , decisively, for the improvement of the quality of life of the population and the reception conditions of those who visit the municipality», according to the Câmara de Vila do Bispo.

 

 

«The housing issue, the constraints of the various planning plans and the connection of Via do Infante to the municipality were other topics addressed», adds the municipality.

The program within which this initiative is framed, organized by AMAL, covers a path that encompasses the main concerns of the municipalities that make up the Intermunicipal Community of the Algarve and that fall within the scope of CAPOTPL's competences.

Water Efficiency, Spatial Planning, Housing and Economic Diversification, Decentralization of Skills in Municipalities, Forests, among others, are the topics covered during this visit, which ends today.
