About three hundred teachers and educators from all over the Algarve gathered this afternoon at Jardim Manuel Bivar, in Faro, in an action integrated in the strikes by district, which this Tuesday, May 2, take place in the Algarve.
After this rally, which included interventions from the union organizations present, there was a parade through the streets of downtown Faro, namely Rua de Santo António.
The strike by districts starts at 12:00 pm, extending until the end of the day, which removes the possibility of requiring minimum services, under penalty of the strike being unfeasible.
In each district, at 12:00 noon, whether the teachers are developing any activity, it must be interrupted, the teachers will go on strike and the schools will stop developing any and all activities;
After, this Tuesday, the strike took place in the district of Faro, will then head to Évora (tomorrow, the 3rd), Coimbra, Castelo Branco, Bragança, Braga, Beja (10th), Aveiro and Lisbon, where it ends on the 12th of May.
