Orquestra do Algarve will give another concert ride, this time entitled “Music for Kings and Queens”, Lagoa, on the 21st of May, at 16 pm.
The program includes works by Georg Friedrich Handel (Alla Hornpipe from the Suite in D Major de Water Music), Ludwig Van Beethoven (Triumphal March from Tarpeja), Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Overture to The Shepherd King), William Boyce (Ode to the New Year 1752), Ludwig Van Beethoven (Variations on God Save The King), Edward Elgar (Dorabella) and Joseph Strauss (Polka Ohne Sorgen).
The guest conductor is Henrique Constância and the host is Rui Baeta.
Tickets for this show cost 6 euros (20% discount with cultural passport, Lagoa Social card or Passaporte Rota do Petisco 2022, available at the ticket offices of the Municipality of Lagoa) and are already on sale on the website of the Chamber and at the CTT ticket offices , by Fnac, Worten, Auditorium Carlos do Carmo, Centro Cultural Convento de S. José and Balcão Único of Lagoa City Council.
Children under 16 have free admission.
