NERA launches sessions on the internationalization of companies

The next session will take place on the 25th of May.

NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region will, until September, provide a set of sessions for entrepreneurs in the agri-food and sea sectors. 

«The aim is, through this collaborative network, to listen to and involve entrepreneurs, collect contributions from players and train SMEs in the Algarve», explains NERA.

These sessions are characterized by a double aspect, intending to stimulate meetings and meetings, but at the same time, to train entrepreneurs in the areas of internationalization management and knowledge about the markets.

The next session will take place on the 25th of May, at 16 pm, and will present the results of the Reconnaissance Mission [visit of international prospectors to the Algarve], in April.

The rest will take place in June, July and September and will focus on matters of internationalization and increasing the reputation of Algarve products.

The sessions are free and aimed at all entrepreneurs in the agri-food and sea sector. They take place in an online format, and to participate simply register via email: [email protected] and/or telephone 289 415 151.

This collaborative network features products, among others, such as citrus fruits, red fruits, honey, jams, salt and fleur de sel, carob and wines.

The project, in addition to the various activities, also provides for an international prospecting action in France and Sweden, to present the regional offer, meetings, exploratory contacts and opportunities for cooperation and business.

This “Algarve Premium” project has the main objective of promoting the internationalization of excellent products from the Algarve region in the Agro-Food and Sea, Cultural and Creative Tourism and Nautical Tourism sectors, in order to increase its recognition, notoriety and international visibility.

This is a project promoted by NERA – Associação Empresarial da Região do Algarve, Associação Turismo do Algarve and the Turismo do Algarve Region co-financed by the Operational Program CRESC ALGARVE 2020.
