Online modality of the Portimão Photographic Race with registration until June 18

In the online modality, the proposed themes are inspired by the ideals of April

Freedom is the main theme of the online version of the Portimão Photographic Race, whose registration and submission of images ends on the 18th of June.

In the online modality, there are four themes proposed and inspired by the ideals of April, namely: “Signs of Freedom”; “Streets of Freedom”; “Is this Freedom?”; and “Free as the wind”.

According to the Portimão Museum, which organizes this Photographic Race, there are already more than 80 people registered in the online modality, coming from the United States of America and Switzerland, to Moreira da Maia, Lisbon, Oeiras, Grândola, Beja, Vila Nova de Cacela, among many other towns from north to south of the country.

As for the nationalities of the registered competitors, there are Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilians, North Americans, English, Welsh, Italians, Latvians and Ukrainians. A real trip around the world that offers very interesting images for the contest.

The Photographic Race in face-to-face mode took place over the course of the 20th of May, with 64 competitors, who traversed the entire municipality of Portimão in search of the best images to illustrate the themes that were being proposed.

In this regard, people from A-dos-Cunhados, Oeiras, Carcavelos, Beja, Albufeira, Aljezur, Faro, Lagoa, Lagos, Olhão, Portimão and Silves.

Photographers from countries such as Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Latvia, Ukraine and Brazil participated.

The 23rd Portimão Photographic Race, whose regulation can be consulted here, is part of the commemorations of the 15th anniversary of the Museum of Portimão, opened on May 17, 2008.
